· What does A Home mean?

· There is a saying that a house is not a home, and a home is not a house.

· According to Mr. Webster, (by the way, his first name is not Merriam, eheheheh) a Home is a place of residence, a social unit formed by a family living together, and which is a familiar and usual setting; and the focus of one’s domestic attention and a place of origin.

· So could you tell me where my home is???

· My father’s father is from Sta, Rita Pampanga but my father does not know or haven't met his relatives there, and his mother is from Caloocan, but my father grew up in Caloocan.

· My mother grew up in Hagonoy, Bulacan and so is her mother but my mother’s father is from Tanauan, Batangas.

· My Papa met my Mama in Caloocan and they lived in Caloocan for 27 years. They bought a house in Meycauayan, Bulacan where they lived for 3 years, and then they went to California where they have been living for the past 5 years.

· I grew up in our hardware in Caloocan and lived there for 26 years.

· I lived for sometime in Batangas and Malate but now I live in Tondo with my son.

· My sister lives also here in Tondo but she is 2 blocks away from us.

· ….and so, could you tell me where my home is?

· There is also a saying that the home is where the heart is.

· My heart is in California because that is where my parents are but I am here in Manila.

· Could that mean that my home is in California even though I have never been in the US? And although I am here in Manila?

· I know you are confused now and so am I…

· Could someone tell me where it is…?

· Whew!! So much for that! At least I got that off of my chest!

· Wait! Or is my Home my cellphone? 

· OR is it the INTERNET?!
